No More Global Arrest Warrants
Global arrest warrants will no longer be handed out in the game. Crimes commited while exploring the wilderness will be automatically tied to the last city visited by the criminal. This means that if you get caught stealing something in Hotel California you will get a warrant for your arrest issued in Los Angeles.

Important Change to Record Sales
Next week we will start using a new formula for calculating record sales. This new formula will get rid of the insane amount of extra records sold by releasing a record at the "right time".

There's still money to be earned by keeping track of the record sales cycle. But releasing a record at the right time won't be a matter of hours anymore. Releasing a record the day before the weekly sales will be enough to maximise the potential earnings.
Because of this, and the new Media Coverage stuff, record studios might want to reconsider ordering huge amounts of records for new releases like they are used to do for some artists.
Things aren't all bad in the record industry these days though. As of next week your records will last longer on the market and together with the Media Coverage newbies might actually sell a few records for a change.

This brings with it a drastic change in how the game is played most efficiently. Bands will have to focus on which areas of the map they find important or suitable for them. It won't be possible to dominate the charts all over the world like artists do today.
Although most of us will gradually feel the effects of lower record and ticket sales in the coming weeks, there will be more opportunities around for everyone to climb higher in the charts than ever before.
The game just became more level, challenging and dynamic than ever before. Enjoy!
